Cheaper ≠ affordable

Local Illawarra architects have banded together to create a satellite event to this year’s Sydney Architecture Festival. Titled ‘Cheaper ≠ affordable’, you are invited to meet architects and others about address the problem of housing affordability. Other speakers will include members of the construction, real estate and prefab industries.

At the end of the afternoon, a panel session moderated by renowned local digital craftsperson Marcus Piper will give the public the opportunity to ask questions to the expert panel on all things affordable housing and more.

In the front yard of the Institute Hall, Kids will battle it out to build the tallest wooden block tower for a prize and for those who need to whet their whistle can enjoy a cold beer from local brewers, the coal coast brewery.
