Sydney Stories

Rounding out the Festival program, come and hear stories from some very special speakers who will weave us a tale of their city – celebrating its natural and cultural landscape; past, present and future. These stories are about Sydney's spirit and particularly how its landscape has shaped our architecture and how the place has shaped our character. This event expands on the themes of the PTW designed Festival exhibition Stories of home, and asks is there a Sydney architecture? What is it, in this global city, that makes us unique? We're very excited to present a panel that includes David Malouf, author and Chippendale local, Simon Parsons (PTW), Michelle Tabet (co-creative director The Pool, 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale), Yasmine Lewis (spoken word performance artist, Bankstown), Sue Barnsley (Landscape Architect) and Dillon Kombumerri (Principal Architect, Office of the Government Architect).
