The (sh)ArchTank

**JUST ANNOUNCED** Joining the shArchs will be Nick Lowe - founder of Street Libraries Australia and GoGet!

Presented in partnership with Urbanistas and BKA Architecture, we’re taking the crowdfunding model from the virtual into the real world. This will be an evening full of potential DIY solutions pitched by changemakers and an opportunity to hear about past projects that show the power of ‘architecture in the cracks’. You will not only be inspired by the pitches, but you can be a part of making them happen. We are really pleased to be able to welcome to the lineup Julienne Campbell of the amazing Urban Theatre Projects and Elise O'Ryan of Glebe Parklets. The night will be MC'd by Urbanista Nichola Balch and we can reveal that the pitches you'll be hearing about include:

- An idea to create more social celebration in urban spaces

- A new outdoor 'chill-out' zone in Concord

- A new outdoor space designed for and by young people in Bidwell

- An idea to provide a space for future architects, policy makers, developers and city leaders to collaborate towards a new breed of architecture
